Marriage equality is more than a legal status. Honestly, it’s one of the reasons I became a Celebrant and formed Tapestry Ceremonies. As the Mother of a beautiful gay daughter, I have been active in the Marriage Equality movement for a long time.
I’m down to earth and approachable, a little bit of a renegade, with a contemporary perspective and a warm heart. My wedding practice is focused on YOU. I will always be your advocate. We screen all the vendors we work with to ensure that we only recommend companies who embrace the same values. Connecticut is largely a progressive state, but we are diligent in our screening process and we ask very direct questions of everyone we work with. When the Producers of the Showtime series “The Real L Word” were looking for an officiant for the legal wedding of Whitney and Sara, they carefully screened their alternatives. I was proud to be chosen to perform the ceremony that appeared in Season 3, episode 8 and to be part of Whitney and Sara’s wedding experience. I am proud to serve and be a part of all of my weddings.
Thank you so very much for all of your help. You gave us the opportunity to have the wedding we wanted that raised the stakes to where they needed to be. You provided the route from anxiety to demonstration of affection. We cannot demonstrate enough gratitude.
