What is a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant?
An individual that has studied ceremony and ritual extensively at the Celebrant Foundation and Institute. We study the history of ceremony and ritual, the structure of ceremony, world Religions, alternative rituals, story telling, and ceremony management. We are Wedding Ceremony professionals and specialists.
How is a Life-Cycle Celebrant different from a JP?
We are not affiliated with any political party. We are focused only on Ceremony and do not serve other administrative functions.
Can you perform religious services?
As an ordained Non-Denominational Minister I respect all religions and am happy to create a wedding that honors your affiliation. We can work together to identify the rites and rituals that are meaningful to you and ways to appropriately incorporate them into your ceremony.
I am agnostic and my partner is not, will you marry us?
Yes, absolutely. You found the love of your life, and I am here to create a ceremony that reflects everything about your journey and your relationship that makes it unique and special.
We are looking for a totally civil/secular service, can you do that?
Yes, your perspectives set the tone for everything. I respect everyone’s philosophy, secular, humanist, spiritual and agnostic. Wedding ceremonies are about YOUR love and commitment, and your happiness.
Do you travel for ceremonies?
I am very happy to serve destination weddings. Upon request, I will provide a quote for expenses associated with travel outside of CT, MA, NY and RI or would be happy to discuss the arrangements.
Dear Elisa- Thank you for helping us experience a wedding ceremony that transcended all our idea's of what a wedding is "supposed to be". Thank you for inspiring us to speak our truths and to be willing to truly share our love in front of those that mean the most to us. Everyone is still talking about the magic of our wedding.
