Jenna and Kyle chose the always perfect Saybrook Inn and Spa for their sea side Autumn wedding. Ellen and the staff of the inn always take great care of their couples, and they know what it takes to make a wedding beautiful and how to keep everyone happy and relaxed. This interfaith ceremony combined elements from both of their religious and cultural heritages, and highlighted their sweet romantic love story. Ritual elements included candles, and wine. The weather was crisp and the sun began to set just as we finished their outdoor ceremony, almost on cue while their photographer Brian Ambrose took advantage of the light and the views of the harbor. Within the wedding ceremony Jenna and Kyle wanted to honor their Grandparents, especially a beloved Grandmother who though no longer here with them, lives forever in their hearts and their memories. They wanted also to convey their deep appreciation and the love they have for their family and friends. The ceremony inspired both laughter and tears, and concluded when Kyle shared his wife’s family tradition of the breaking of the glass. The wishes of ”Mazel Tov” and “Congratulations” were joyful and heartfelt.
Dear Elisa- Thank you for helping us experience a wedding ceremony that transcended all our idea's of what a wedding is "supposed to be". Thank you for inspiring us to speak our truths and to be willing to truly share our love in front of those that mean the most to us. Everyone is still talking about the magic of our wedding.
